8. COURT ORDERS IN MARRIAGE DISSOLUTION CASES

Your right to elect retirement options, and the amount of benefits you receive, is subject to any court orders which are filed in a marriage dissolution case in which you are a party, as long as the orders comply with federal laws regulating pension plans. If you are a party to a marriage dissolution action, please advise your lawyer and your spouse's lawyer that you are a participant in this Plan, to make sure that you take the necessary steps to protect your rights under the Plan.
